Meet the Booksellers

Glenda, Owner

Born in Dallas, Texas, Glenda eventually made her way to Plymouth after college and hasn't left since. With two college-aged kids, she decided now was the time to open an independent bookstore, so in August 2021 Books & Sundry was born! Her favorite genres are historical fiction and books on American history, but she'll read just about anything that grabs her attention. In her free time, Glenda enjoys finding new restaurants to try, watching sappy Hallmark movies, and spending time just being with her friends. Her favorite part about being at the bookstore is talking to people about their favorite books and finding new titles for them to try out.

Aubrey, Bookseller

Aubrey has lived all her life in Plymouth County and is currently finishing up her master's degree in speech pathology. She plans to work in an elementary school as a speech therapist. While not at school or the shop, she enjoys drawing and going out with friends. Her favorite genre is fiction. Aubrey is the master of keeping the children's section organized and our sandwich board up to date.

Grace, Bookseller

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Grace now resides on the South Shore with her family of four and two dogs, Zelda and Azlan. She has moved around the United States and has even spent some time living in the United Kingdom. She is currently working on her first book - a twist on the Greek tale of Hades and Persephone, which draws inspiration from mythologies across the world throughout history. In her free time, she enjoys playing bass guitar on her church worship team, reading, drawing, and spending time with her friends. Her favorite genre is fantasy, and her enthusiasm for writing and learning more about the process is unmistakable when you meet her at the shop.

Michelina, Bookseller

Miki grew up in Plymouth and is currently completing her bachelor's degree in interior design with a minor in art history. After graduation, she hopes to take some time to travel and see some of the art she studied in college. Until then, Miki spends her free time enjoying all things Harry Styles, painting, and going to as much live theater as her wallet allows. She is also the artistic designer for the PSHS Theater Guild. Her favorite genres are fantasy and poetry. Miki's design and organizational skills are evident throughout the store and we love to see what she comes up with each season.
